Denomination Relations Team - This team monitors and reports to the congregation on the activities of other religious bodies with which Peakland decides to partner. The Team is currently without a leader. Contact, or the Church Office 384-2031.
Diaconate - Deacons assist the Minister in the spiritual nurture of the congregation by each serving as "under-shepherd" to a small group of members and friends with whom they are in contact and to whom they provide support. Education Team - This team
formulates and recommends staff and resources for the Church School, Vacation
Bible School, youth, and other educational programs. Team Leader,

Facilities Team - This
team maintains, in proper and attractive condition, the buildings and grounds
belonging to the congregation and all associated equipment. Team Leaders,

Fellowship Team - This team offers opportunities for persons to establish bonds of belonging with one another and the congregation through a variety of social and recreational activities. Ministry of Health Caring Team - This team provides health education resources and responds to congregational health needs, helping members to maintain their optimum wellness potential. Team Leaders, Susan Epling 540-297-5551, and Martha Showalter 384-1969.
Ministry Support Team - This team matches individuals with suitable ministry opportunities, recommends a slate of officers at the annual meeting, and provides for the ongoing development of all volunteers. Team Leaders, Susan Epling at 540-297-5551, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
Missions Team - This team leads the congregation in establishing outreach ministry goals and in offering practical service to others. Team leader, Carroll Brown at 540-296-1487, or the Church Office at 384-2031
Outreach/Publicity Team - This team provides leadership for efforts to increase the visibility of our congregation, to publicize events and ministries, and to invite people to become members of our congregation. Team Leader, Ron Rash at 386-5544, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
Stewardship Team - This team leads the church in the process of defining an annual unified budget and monitors receipts and expenditures in keeping with the fiscal boundaries of the budget. Team Leader, Amy Ray at 384-4872, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
Personnel Team - This team establishes and maintains written policies and procedures, including job descriptions, for all paid staff members. Team Leader, Linda Williams at 384-7170 for more information.
Women's Christian Fellowship - This fellowship of women serves the congregation by promoting and involving the church in direct mission projects and by providing circles of Christian growth and encouragement of the women of the church. Elizabeth Redd 384-0724, and Thelma Naff 384-8405 lead Circle #1, and Mary Elizabeth McCarthy (384-1660) leads Circle #2 (Women on a Mission).
Worship Team - This team provides leadership and resources to enrich the worship life of our congregation, families, and individuals. Team leader, Bev Petty 384-1660 and Harry Haga 384-1467, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
